Dunch Arts Opportunities
At Dunch Arts, we discover, develop and share the best people, practices and platforms around global arts and culture today. Founded in 2008 in New York City, Dunch Arts is a boutique management consulting firm exclusively focused on arts, culture and digital media. We care deeply about the sustainability of artists and organizations and we devote our professional efforts to helping the sector thrive. We teach and implement best practice fundraising, strategic planning, digital innovation, and executive search for arts and cultural organizations. We address the pressing issues of today, while identifying and developing the arts leaders of tomorrow.
Associate, Dunch Arts
The Associate is a key member of the Dunch Arts team, working with the President, Senior Consultants and Consultants to successfully support and execute a diverse range of client projects across multiple artistic disciplines. The successful candidate will be a well-organized administrator and experienced development all-rounder with high computer literacy, who can work successfully and competently across the firm’s client portfolio in a supporting capacity. The Associate functions across all areas of the firm’s administration, project management, and fundraising activities. S/he will be capable of serving in a front-facing client role onsite, and behind the scenes supporting senior colleagues in their front-facing client roles. S/he will also execute other duties as required by the President or Dunch Arts.
Senior Consultant, Dunch Arts
The senior consultants in our firm are energetic, optimistic, hardworking field leaders who think intelligently about the future of arts and society. They are smart, flexible, and entrepreneurial, with a passion for creating and testing new ideas. They are generous about sharing their expertise, and they’re excited to teach and mentor the next generation of arts leaders through our Dunch Arts Management Fellowship program, which identifies and recruits the best post-graduate talent from around the United States each year.
We’ve been called “the Navy SEALS of fundraising” by a prominent funder because we move quickly, inject energy and momentum into organizations, and propel our clients towards success. To succeed with us, you’ll need to be a great fundraiser, with strong functional experience in every facet of development and a sophisticated approach to financial and organizational strategy. In addition, you’ll also be a strong business executive: able to manage consulting teams on- and off-site, create organizational business plans, facilitate Board strategic planning processes, write and teach others about culture and business, and manage multiple clients and their donors with discretion.
